Today Kristen and I decided to run the Long Island Greenbelt trail. We were both inspired to do some trail running by this book we read called "Born to Run". This was the first time either of us had been trail running but we managed to knock out 6.5 miles.

Another perfect Six Flags day. The Sun was out and the park was basically dead. I don't know why, but all I know is we got to go on coaster ride after coaster ride (until I almost turned green)

Ahhh, our second trip to the farm in Rome NY. This trip was titled "Hot Mess Deus". On this trip we only stayed for 4 days and brought James's friend Alec. It was a short trip because I came up just to go to Brittany's cousins wedding.
I was even more excited because not only were Brittany and kids there....but also Craig AND Tim (my brother in law and brother). The weather didn't cooperate on the days around the wedding so it wasn't the summer wonderland we visited the month before. Close your eyes and imagine 6 adults and 6 children cramped into a tiny farm house (you can almost smell it can't cha?)

Olivia....a Diva? Not really, but she does like to dress the part. So I figured her sixth birthday was a big deal and wanted to give her a really cool party. I've seen this place called Just Fabulous (next to where I get my haircut) since Liv was little and always wanted to have a party for her there.
Things were a little slow at first until all the girls started trying on all the costumes, hats and accessories. They all took turns getting manicures, hair and makeup. Then they had a little dance party, pizza, pictures on the catwalk and frozen yogurt. I thought Olivia might be freaked out by all the attention, but she was diggin it. I was doing my best paparazzi impression. Everything was great until they gave me the bill....then I wept in my pink frozen yogurt. ("Daddys just happy Olivia...thats all....")
