Kris and I decided to take a trip to PA to see some friends and get lost in a giant field of corn. This corn maze is right in the middle of meat and potato lovin’ Pennsylvania Dutch country and is called “The Cherry Crest Adventure Farm”.
How many years did I have to wait to get the guitar of my dreams??? … 24 years!!! Are you kidding me?? Let me tell ya, I moaned and groaned, hemmed and hawed, paced back and fourth and agonized over this purchase before I bit the bullet. Once I heard her sweet siren song, I was smitten.
Yes, I was bitten by the running bug. I think it really kicked in when I was watching the fatties on “The Biggest Loser” not only run a half marathon, but a full marathon no more than a month later.
Today Kristen and I decided to run the Long Island Greenbelt trail. We were both inspired to do some trail running by this book we read called “Born to Run“. This was the first time either of us had been trail running but we managed to knock out 6.5 miles.

Ahhh…the old Scooper Doggie Truck…. I get all warm and fuzzy when I remember driving it with about 2 tons of Scooper Doggies in the back down I76 in PA between two cement road barriers. Thank God for the 10 inch play in the steering….I might have fallen asleep at the wheel.
